I’ve been working as an engineer for four and a half years now since I graduated from university. But I was building Lego since I was very wee…does that count as engineering?!?!

I have been working as a professional engineer for 6 years since graduating, but I did a year as an industrial placement as part of my course as well so I guess 7 years in total. But like these guys said – I’ve been an engineer ever since I was a kid- I just didn’t know at the time that that’s what it was called! I had lego and mechano but I think you’ll find guys that really being an engineer is all about using whatever materials you have available. I loved making marble runs all over my gran’s house with kitchen roll tubes, bits of cardboard and packaging, and miles of selotape…

I have been working as an engineer for about 1.5 years now. If we include my studies it is about 7.5 years. I was never really into engineering before my last years of school.
