• Question: how would you do to improve the education, we as students, get about engineering

      I’m a big fan of involving the practical side of engineering in the school curriculum. There’s a saying “Tell me and I’ll forget. Show me and I’ll remember. Involve me and I’ll understand” which I fell rings particularly true to engineering and is not used enough in school

      The sense of achievement that you get when you build something up and you can stand back and say “I did that” is brilliant.

      Also when it all goes wrong and you have a disaster, that’s also when you get the best learning!! Trust me, I’ve learnt a lot from my mistakes!!
