Question: What advice would you give somebody who would like to follow in your footsteps?

I always tried to apply the studying I was doing at the time to what I really wanted to do, for me this was robotics. This made everything more interesting as I could see how I could use it in the future. Also the thing that got me some essential experience was applying for internships and placements, also my volunteering for any competition that might be related to what I want to do. Volunteering or joining something like a engineering society or club will help you develop the fun side of the skills you might need.
