I like working for Airbus – they have such varied projects. It’s a huge company but they look after their staff well, and if you work hard, you get noticed. Working for a big company means that there will always be loads of people your age and with your interests to be friends with and have lunch with and stuff too- so it’s very sociable. I love that we work on such cool projects as the Mars Rover as well!

      Hey Orla,

It’s good fun working for my company, there’s a lot of interesting people and the work is always varied. It’s also something that I love doing so it makes it feel less like work and makes the day go by really quickly!

I would see us as a big family (we are about 30 people currently) – we try to get to know each other also outside of working hours. Because if you think about it you spend more time at work than at home. We go bowling, out for drinks, some of my coworkers play football together, we even went to a Bavarian Beerhouse! I can say that if it wouldn’t have been for my coworkers, I probably wouldn’t have stayed at the company after I finished my Master thesis as I could have found similar work in Germany.

It’s great all the team are supportive, it is literally a family business so ppl argue but it’s just like arguing with your own family you make your point and move on as its your family an can’t get rid of them

They all help you an want you to better yourself as it helps the company so courses are offered to help you get better
