I think really my dream was to work in the space industry, to help explore space and to discover things. As I learnt more about the space industry I found out that engineers design all the cool technology which allows us to go into space; things like launchers, the space shuttle, robots/rovers and even the space station. Seeing as I like designing things and being creative an engineering role seemed like a great job for me and a way I could keep learning more about space.

No. Engineers are lame. Physicists Rule!
(Disclaimer: I am a Chartered Systems Engineer as well as a PhD Space Physicist, so just take that as the childish banter its meant to be.)
