I probably found my A-Level in Further Maths the most tricky as I had so many A-Level exams all at the same time! My degree actually seemed easier than my A-levels, probably because it was spread out over quite a few years and I picked a degree with lots of coursework as I find I do better at that than exams.
Latin O level probably. This was 1971. Astronauts were landing on the Moon, Concorde was being developed, lasers and computers were just coming into daily life and I was wasting my time chanting amo, amas, amat (which is the latin for I love, you love, he loves). It was really hard to think that this was anything other than a complete waste of time which I could have spent learning something useful.50 years later, I still think it was a waste of time. I have never in my life used the Latin I learned but I wish I was better at maths
I found my undergraduate degree (BEng) most difficult as I did it with the Open University which means you complete the degree as distance learning. This means that you have to be strict and teach yourself from books and the occasional tutorial. My masters (MSc) was a taught course and at Cranfield University they teach the module in 1-2 week blocks which I found much easier, even though it was at a higher level
