There is lots of scientific evidence which suggests that the big band theory is the most likely way the universe started and the reason it seems to keep on growing. There are lots of scientists who are still doing research in this area so we can learn more. Its because either there was a big bang or we really smell bad! When we look at galaxies from telescopes on Earth they all look slightly red and if a galaxy looks red its because it is moving away from you… it doesn’t matter where we look in the night sky almost all galaxies are moving away from us. And so if we run time backwards at some point all galaxies (and all the stuff in them) must have come from a single point.
