Question: are your parents supportive of your career

Completely, in fact it was my dad who got me interested in all things sciencey. I didn’t really like sciences at school, even though I was pretty good at them. But my dad was interested in space and lots of physics theories, though he never went to university, he just used to trawl through the NASA website and read lots of books! We would have long chats in the car about the exciting things going on in our universe and some theories he had read, and that made me really interested in science and is why I decided to carry Physics and Maths on through Alevel – which is why I’m here now!
