• Question: @Rhys,would you put carbon fibre as the outer layer or the inner layer of a rocket?

      Inner layer, a material that could keep its strength at very high temperatures and pressures, or at least a material with a special coating would go on the outside. I would use carbon fibre for some of the components inside, that protect part of the functionality of the rocket.
