I’m not sure I’d be brave enough to go to either, but if I had to, I think I would go to the Moon. Mars takes a really long time to get there (around 9 months) and getting back is probably impossible. The Moon would probably still be very difficult to get back from, but the journey would be shorter and you’d get an amazing view of Earth that you wouldn’t get from Mars.
I’d go to both but, like Katie mentions, I’d want to be able to come back to Earth (or live a nice life on Mars with other people). I think you could do some great experiments on both, making use of the different environments (imagine being able to jump really high).
I would go to neither, as I can get very claustrophobic and think I would be a bad passenger travelling into space. But if I was going to do it I’d go to Mars – go big or go home! To be the first person to visit a planet, to see Mars with my own eyes would be such a fantastic experience!
