Thanks so much everyone. I love my job as an engineer and I was so pleased to be able to talk to you about it. I would have loved to have joined in more chats but I know that all of us engineers enjoyed answering your questions. I was honoured to have won, and I appreciate all your questions and all the answers from the other engineers.

I have worked as an engineer for quite a few years now, and I am excited by the career options and future for it. I hope that you have all learnt something from taking part in I’m an Engineer and that you enjoyed it too. Not everyone will want to be an engineer, but should you choose it as a career then there are lots of exciting and challenging projects to work on. It is also a career that can take you round the world and on lots of adventures. I look forward to working with some of you in the future on a Space mission!

Regarding the prize money – I will have 2 students this summer to design a big spacecraft model that I can take into schools for classes to build with me, the money will be sent on all the parts that will be needed for this!
