Depends! They can range in size. Our Sun (which is a star) is a pretty average size of Star… according to Google, you can fit roughly 110 Earths around the Sun (as if the Sun had a belt… of Earths =P ). You also get some smaller ones and some absolutely massive ones!
VY Canis Majoris is the largest star that we know of. It is roughly 25 times heavier than the Sun and it’s “width” is roughly 3000 times larger than our own Sun! Super cool fact: If you placed replaced our Sun with this monster then, due to its sheer size, it would touch where Jupiter lies. Look up a picture of the solar system if you want a clearer idea! =)
