Question: is engineering a field for everyone?

Hello Maria,

Think of engineering like this – Most people are actually engineers already – even you – When your shoelace comes undone, What do you do? You tie it back up right? So you have just solved a problem by finding a solution!!

Think of a Baker or a Nurse…..A baker uses a recipe to make a loaf of bread so he/she is using different parts to make something……..What about a nurse? He or she will help people to get better by fixing whatever is wrong with them……You see what i mean??? Engineering is not necessarily about nuts, bolts, computers and engines – its about solving problems by coming up with a suitable solution!!
