• Question: What are you planning to do in the future?

      For the immediate future I’m going to finish the graduate scheme I’m on which is 4 years and then who knows? Maybe I’ll get tired of working as an engineer and I’ll go back to being a waiter.

      My ship is going into Dry Dock for a refit so I will be busy making sure that goes to plan for the next few months.

      Who know about any further than that – I like to take opportunities as they come along!

      Hello ojcz and Branflakes123,

      My plans for the future are probably to return home in the next few years to continue my career in the UK, I am currently studying for my degree in Mechanical Engineering so my immeadiate plans are to get that finished!!

      In the near future, similar to James I plan to finish the graduate scheme (mine is 2 years). Then I plan to increase my experience in different areas of vehicle engineering and then see where the wind takes me. I would love to work for a company like Tesla developing pure electric cars in the future, mainly because its a lot sunnier in California than it is here!
