It’s good working on both sides of the company, both brands have completely different uses there are different challenges for each. On the jaguar side the cars have to look beautiful and drive fast so a lot of work goes into handling and performance around a race track. Land Rovers however need to be able to manoeuvre around almost all types of terrain and hence the torque and gearing are very important for off-road capability. I think the lines are becoming more blurred, for example the new Range Rover Evoque is a beautiful car which has very good off road handling and performance.
