  How very observant of you. Most people don’t read the fine print !
  
  I didn’t think I wanted to be a teacher, I actually became a maths teacher in Cape Town. However, illness got in the way and teachers’ salaries were pitiful so I had to go into engineering to pay the doctors bills. I still do some teaching and mentoring of young disaster relief engineers, so I think I can claim “teaching” as one of my interests.
