Question: Did you get any exprience from working n shops for being an engineer?

I think that depends on what type of shops you work in and what type of engineering you are interested in!

I’ve worked in Morrisons, Makro and a video shop before I was an engineer and they gave me a bit of experience and cash in my pocket, but weren’t really very helpful in getting a job in engineering. If you can get to work as a manager in a shop that can be a bit more useful as engineering has quite a lot of management in it (like I manage people who build things for me, or also manage people who design things for me).
