Question: Do you help build ,design or repair weaponry for the navy?

Not really. Generally we are not weaponry manufacturers. So as a ship yard we do install and integrate them but we don’t design or fix the actual guns, radars or rocket launchers. When the ship comes for refit, one of the first things that we do is to take the guns off and send them to the manufacturer for maintenance. Secondary a lot of it is highly secret and as I am not a British national I am not allowed to work on these projects. So I tend to deal with all the non-combat systems instead: propulsion, hot and cold water, ventilation, workshops, kitchens, fire-fighting etc
