No. To be honest I am not too sure what the competition is based on. My aim is to be honest and where possible interesting and helpful, so that school pupils like you can have a realistic and hopefully positive image of engineering. Am I the best person to do this? Probably not. But I think the best thing about this set up is that you get to see many different engineers and that is most valuable. And I am different. We all are.
Absolutely not. I think some of the other engineers are far better than me. However, if you are asking this to see who you should vote for, please remember that it is not the engineer that you are voting for, but his/her project which is actually for YOU ! So, go back to all the five profiles and read what each engineer says about his/her project and vote for the best project.
There are amazing engineers in this competition! Ken has worked in the most crazy places doing amazing things, Alexander works in really hardcore engineering and works much harder than me, Harriet really knows her stuff and has a fantastic approach to things, and Chris – well he works in the Antartic and sees penguins!
As for me, I’m doing a bit of this and that on the rivers – and have done a little bit of stuff in central america. Not sure how you could judge who’s the best engineer as we’re all doing very different things that are all really interesting.
