Question: Have you ever found anything interesting in the thames?

Indeed it is.

I personally have only found a lot of sand and muck – when I’ve been taking samples of the river bed. Although I did also surprisingly find a lot of mussels – which I didn’t realise lived in the Thames until recently.

Some of my colleagues who have worked on the river for years have found some interesting things like:
– an ancient Roman sword & shield
– a whole sunken car
– a whole 3 seater sofa
– a suitcase full of clothes
– a wedding ring
