A difficult question. I have to say, I do love living in Edinbugh, it is a great city. I have to admit that I would rather live in Europe, feel quite attached to this continent, however would love to travel and spend time in other places. If I moved back to Russia I would probably go for St. Petersburg or Yaroslavl.
So far I have lived in 3 very different countries and enjoyed all of them. Most places have pros and cons and in the end the important question is who are you there with?

Hi Emilyl: I would live exactly where I live now. We have room to breathe. Our home looks over a tidal estuary where I help aspiring young sailors to understand the rules of sailing – and how to upright a capsized dinghy. The bird life on the estuary is superb from skeins of geese to a spoonbil to curlews and the cry of the oyster catchers. We can walk for miles on the coast path. Best of all, we have a wonderful community who look out for each other. What more can we possibly want?

I love where I live in Oxford, but one day I’d like to spend a couple of years living in South America – possibly in Argentina. I think that would be a great experience to have.
