The fact that I am retired because it was such a wonderful job, I wanted it to go on forever.

There are things I dislike about my job. But nothing that I hate. I dislike when I spend a lot of time and effort coming up with a solution or writing a report and then the whole project gets halted for one reason or another. This is quite soul destroying. I dislike when people that I rely on to give information are unhelpful, but that is rare. I dislike when technology lets me down. I dislike when I can not enjoy a good night out with friends because I have to start early the day after.

I get a bit bored when I have to fill in really long forms, or write a dull report. But this is quite a small part of my job. Probably the only thing I really hate is when people don’t have the same enthusiasm as me about something – but even then I can usually persuade them to get a bit more keen on my idea!
