• Question: Do you think your job will make a difference in the future? If so why?

      I am sure that my job will make a difference in the future, as I can see things that I did several years ago making a difference now. Many cars now stop their engines at traffic lights and other times when they are not moving, in order to save fuel and reduce pollution. I was responsible for some of the technology used to make that happen, so my work is directly making a difference there. Other things that I am doing now will similarly make a difference when they finally come to the market – in the automotivc and aerospace industries, it takes a long time to develop new vehicles, so it can be 10 years between you working on a new technology and it coming into general use.

      I think my job is already making a difference. The projects I’m working on are directly influencing the industry which indirectly influences all our lives.

      yea I hope so, the project i’m working on now certainly should if it fulfills its mission.
