• Question: does your job make you happy?

      I’m happy at my job most of the time. There are lots of bits of it that I enjoy, working with students, especially in the lab (my playroom!!), and when things that you have spent a lot of time and effort on finally work. Other bits are not so much fun – marking and management meetings for example!

      Generally speaking yes, there are bits I don’t particularly like but majority of the time I’m happy with what I’m doing.

      it makes me happy in that I feel I am doing something worthwhile. I don’t wake up every morning and groan that I have to go to work. I wish there were more hours in the day though to do more things.

      It does. I find it very rewarding and love having new challenges to work on every day.
