• Question: What differs engineering ftrom other professions?

      engineers make things not just for them but to help other people. It is a profession of problem solving and invention. I don’t think you could describe another job the same way.

      Engineers might take a long time to come to an answer, mainly because they solve big difficult problems, so what they do is not as visible as what other professionals do. The way I like to look at it is that Engineers make a difference to the future.
