• Question: when do you think flying cars will be in fashion?

      I think they will be in fashion when personal flying transportation becomes affordable and safe enough for everyone to do it. I think it will be hard to justify though due to the environmental impact it may have when everyone starts flying cars around.

      It won’t happen for a while. The technology is not there yet but maybe in the next 100 years?

      There are already some flying cars, but it is more likely that we will have small aeroplanes which can fly themselves to get to where we are going. That way, we would not all need pilot’s licences.

      Human carrying drones have been invented. I expect they’ll be the first type of ‘flying car’ that we see out and about. When that will be? Maybe within the next 20 years? The technology is getting there but new policies and laws need to catch up with that as well before it could be used by the public.

      I’m not sure flying cars are the way forward. Autonomous vehicles will be the next step, and it is likely that the whole concept of transportation will change over the next few years, with personal vehicle ownership shifting to a transport on demand model
