• Question: Do you find out a lot when you work as an engineer?

      Hi Rich,

      If I understood your question correctly, you are wondering if we find out new things while working? If that’s the case, the answer is yes, absolutely. I do find new things quite frequently at work, and it is a very rewarding experience.

      Every day I find out something new and interesting. Today I learned about how the trains are controlled from Leeds to Manchester, yesterday I learned how we can track people moving through trains stations. If it’s a really good day I get to teach people something too.

      nice name !!
      Have you ever heard the saying ‘ you learn something new everyday’ well it is very true and i think it is more true for engineering, because you are constantly doing, designing, creating and building new things to help society.

      So prepare to learn loads and enjoy pushing boundaries if you go into engineering ok.
