• Question: Do you like breaking things, or is it accidental?

      Your question made me laugh a lot.

      Both! I have to say.

      My hands are covered in burns because I accidently touch the oven when I’m being impatient for my pizza to cook. I’ve never broken a bone, though.

      My car breaks quite a lot too – I’m not sure if that’s my fault or just because it’s rubbish. The battery died the other day.

      I managed to pull my towel rack off the wall too! Oops. That was my fault.

      I also break things deliberately. I use big saws to cut apart my samples so I can look inside. I also break them byusing two big clamps to tear them apart so I can measure how much force they can take before they break – this is calculated to their strength.

      It’s quite cool having a job where I can break things for money.
