      Hi 399amph45,

I think since I was 12-13 I knew I wanted to study engineering, so about 6-7 years before I went to uni. I graduated when I was 22, so I officially became an engineer about 10 years after I decided I wanted to become one.

I think I started to want to become an engineer when I was about 13-14. I started to realise what I wanted to do when we had a careers day in Year 9 at School.
