      As it is nearly Easter i am going for the egg.

      I like Zoe’s answer the most! Chocolate eggs are the best.

      Dinosaurs laid eggs and also had feathers.

      I suppose you have to say the egg. If you accept that genetic change happens during the creation of the egg and that a single genetic change caused the evolution of “pre-chicken” to “chicken” then it was the egg.
