      Hi Emily and Ellie,

I think it just takes a lot of hard work and engineering. In terms of advice, my suggestion is to do your best in school, take as many maths as possible and enjoy learning science, physics and chemistry.

In terms of life advice, I think it would be: it does not matter where you start, as long as you keep working hard, opportunities will come up and people will notice your hard work. There will always be someone that believes in you, so be grateful and make the most out of each opportunity you are given.

      Hi Emily,
I believe anyone can be anything they want to be with the right attitude, focus , determination, hard work and opportunities.
So if you want to be an Engineer then I say go for it as the world needs more female engineers.
My general advice is to work hard at everything you do, take opportunities when they come your way and always believe in yourself.

Remember you can do anything you put your mind ok!

Just do what you enjoy and what makes you happy. Try new things as you don’t know what you will enjoy. If you’re really lucky you’ll enjoy being an engineer and get to do it as a career. Somebody once said to me ” If you enjoy your career you never have to work again” what they mean is if you can do something you enjoy then it doesn’t feel like hard work.
