      Hi fluffybunny22,

I think the hardest problem I’ve solved was managing a group of 9 designing a UAV plane back in undergrad. You’d be surprised with how difficult managing people is. That’s why team work is so important!

I think I’d have to agree with Andres – making everyone in a team happy is the hardest problem I’ve had to solve. Everyone has different ideas and different ways of working and you have to make sure that all those different things can work well together.

Saying that, Schrodinger’s Time Independent Equation (which describes a particle’s motion in quantum physics) isn’t easy to solve either. Luckily other people have done it before me so I just had to follow their working!

Trying to test a brand new system which nobody had designed before and getting it to work safely was tough. I had to write a new way of working and make sure that we had covered every possible eventuality so that it couldn’t fail in real life!
