      Hi,

Yes I do have my own equipment although I have the freedom to order what I want to carry out my role. I also order any equipment that the site team may need. Of personal issue for the job I am currently working on, I am given the following:

      1) Distometer – laser measurement tool which you press a button whilst pointing the laser at something that you want to know how far away it is. This will tell you the measurement.
      2) Camera – to take photo’s of the structures you have built.
      3) Tape Measure – I use this to measure the depths of the foundations that we have installed. I lose these regularly by letting the rest of the team borrow them but I am able to order my own equipment.
      4) GPS Kit – I am given co-ordinates from the designers and I have to find the position of the structure using this.

Other equipment such as screwdrivers/spanners/cube moulds/levels etc are free for all but I am allowed to order whatever is needed (as this role has a lot of responsibility and trust).
