• Question: how long do you work for? (hours)

      I work for about 8 hours a day if there are no night shifts. It is meant to be 40 hours a week so when I am on nights I work four days of 10 hours which means I get three days free. If I want to get some additional overtime I am able to work weekends, nights and some days in the office. In the design teams, I used to work 37 hours a week.

      i work from 8am to 6pm ususally.

      jakeculbert – approx 7hrs 30 per day / 42hrs per week.
      It’s flexi-time, so I could do more, or less, or take a day off ( obvioulsy checking it’s okay with the boss/manager first )

      I work 7 am to 4 pm 4 days a week. Each Thursday I commute to college.

      I work at the same place as Graham, flexi-time is brilliant and really helps you achieve a good work-life balance. The 30 days of annual leave + 10.5 public holidays and privilege days aren’t bad either!
