      it could be…..
we have high voltage, water, gas ( flammable or innert ) oils etc that all pose arisk.
Our sfaety team reduce the risk to alow level, ( se todays chat for the gas alarm ! ) with safe working practices.
we have a concrete “block house” for testing anything a bit scary…

It can be if you don’t follow the health and safety procedures put in place but generally we are told that if it is an unsafe task, don’t do it and talk to your manager. We wear all sorts of protective equipment to help keep up safe. It is scary sometimes being close to a train going past but there are lots of systems to warn you before the train comes past so you can get in a position of safety.

working on a construction site can be pretty dangerous, however, as a designer we design out risk. and whilst on site we are all trained to identify risks and try to mitigate them.

      thanks

      It varies each time,

Normally I am working with low voltage which is not dangerous.

Some tasks require test of power supplies which produce 160A of current.

Every time before the task is carried out, I have to produce and follow a risk assessment document.
