• Question: do you think you could start to make teeth or eyes with the money? Teeth could be very strong eat as much sugar as you want !

      Hi,

      I don’t think I would use the money to make teeth or eyes because I don’t know how that would enable more people to learn about engineering.
      I like your idea that 3D printed teeth would be very strong – they would be! The only problem is how to fix them to your jaw, the body is very clever at this with root and gums holding the tooth in, it is much harder to attach fake teeth sadly.
      Eyes need to be see through like a window so you can see with them – metals aren’t see through so I couldn’t make eyes with my 3D printer, maybe someone else has a 3D printer that can print in clear plastic and they could design eyes for the future – that would be very cool!
