• Question: how long does it take to create a hand

      Three possible answers here.
      1. Manufacturing a hand only – takes the 3D printer about 20 hours to print a small sized hand (for a 7 year old)
      2. Fitting a hand to a person – several weeks to ensure the hand is safe for the person to use
      3. Designing a hand – at least a year to make a proper design that works (still working on this!)
