I have only been involved in medical engineering for the last 2-3 years, before then I was a Biology and Clinical Sciences student and so had a lot of different options.

One does not simply becomes an engineer, but is born to be one. I believe that everyone is an engineer and a scientist at least a little bit

I could probably say I have officially been an engineer for 3 years since I finished my university degree. But in reality I have been problem solving and doing science and engineering type things all my life, so 26 years!

I feel I’ve always been an engineer…. I took apart all my toys as a kid and (most of the time…) put them back together again. I finished my undergrad engineering degree in 2009 so ‘officially’ an engineer since then maybe?
