I’d say Brunel. He was one of the most prominent figures in the industrial revolution and arguably one of the most influential people in British history.
Whoever designed the pyramids. There are some amazing examples of engineering in the world which were created/built thousands of years ago without modern technology and we still don’t know exactly how they did it! That never stops amazing me!
My engineering history knowledge is abysmal. But who ever came up with cars, planes and trains (any transportation method) have to be given major credit.
