• Question: Why would you give your workshops to guides and scouts, not anyone else?

      Hi Alfredo,

      I am aiming my workshops at guides and scouts because I don’t want the workshops to feel like school work, and lots of people have been put off school for all sorts of reasons. I want people to see engineering as fun (because it is!) and so by doing the workshops in a place people go to have fun they are more likely to see engineering as fun. I am also open to doing them in other places young people go to have fun for example community centres and youth clubs, but at the moment I am already involved with local scouts and guides so it easy for me to do it there.
