  The process of making new bones can be quite long if the bones are made specially for an individual, as we need to do a scan of the person so that we know what there bones look like and then we need to design the new bones. However the process of making the bones is relatively simple, the 3D printer can print a new bone overnight so that bit it quite quick.
  So if I want to print a standard design for someone then I could give them a new bone the next day!
