I think I can consider myself to be lucky enough not to have any regret on my career path. After school I very idealistic person and I really wanted to contribute to society. I could have been a lot of things: doctor, economist, statistician but life proven that being an engineer was one of the best choices. You don’t need to be a doctor or a politician to contribute to the well-being of society. The choice of pursuing a scientific career first before landing into pure engineering was also a good move, at the time I wouldn’t be able to fit in a corporate environment. Being knowledgeable of robotics (other than proficient at software engineering) allows me to play a role on what robots should and could do in future, probably this can be my little bit of contribution. This doesn’t mean that I have not made career mistakes, I did many, but I was lucky and committed enough to overcame them
