• Question: Hi how old were you when you got into being an engineer?

      I designed and built my own Lego Technics helicopter when i was around 8 years old. I also wrote a report on it, including how the propeller could rotate faster! And even before then I was always taking things apart to see how they worked.

      I wrote my first computer program when I was 9 years old. I think that counts as “being an engineer”! 🙂
      I don’t think there was a clear time when I said “Ok I’m going to be an engineer now”. Whenever I had to make a choice in my life, I went for what I thought I would enjoy the most. I’ve always enjoyed software engineering, so that ended up being big part of my life.
