I currently work on two robotic platforms, the Baxter robot (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXOkWuSCkRI) and a more industrial looking robot arm called WAM (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayyv–EJZVM). Neither are super exciting but are simple and reliable for doing our work.

The last robot I am working on is called Baxter (http://www.rethinkrobotics.com/baxter/ – you can see it behind Greg in his profile picture). It is a relatively cheap robot designed to work together hand-in-hand with people in a factory and it is a good robot for universities to work on since it is cheap and easy to use (you can control it using Python). Every university has their own robots designed to do very different things from collecting a beer from the living room (http://www.robocupathome.org/) to playing football (http://spl.robocup.org/)
