  Awesome question!
  Did you know Each Debnhams store uses the same amount of energy as about 100 homes!! We have about 170 stores… (I’ll let you do the maths) So we use ALOT of energy. On average I am saving about 2-3% of this each year.. by making the store more energy efficient. I do this through new technology such as efficient lighting and cooling equipment, through installing sensors so lights come on only when required and through teaching staff how to save energy in their stores.

  My job isn’t about saving energy on its own – but there are a number of things we do in the office to save energy – like turning off monitors, lights etc.
  
  At home we try and do the small things that add up to make a difference – lights off, computers not on standby etCc!
