Interesting! I think we as humans like exploring new places, and what better new place than space! I personally can’t wait until they find life on another planet.
Exploration drives innovation in often unexpected ways! So far space exploration has given us memory foams (your mattress may be made of it), dustbsuters (hand held vacuum cleaners) and freeze-dried food (like instant coffee). Who knows what else living in space will bring…
I’m not sure if you mean us living in space, or there potentially being other life in space?
The first one will mean that we’ll have to be ultra creative in how we live in space – and really push what is currently possible and how we make/manufacture items to last in space.
The second (if that’s what you meant!) is a really interesting concept – hopefully if there is something else out there they’re friendly and keen to learn what we can do and vice versa!
I think it is human nature to explore and push the boundaries! I think I’m a bit more safe though, keep me on earth please!
Space exploration and the like has brought Satellite communications to us and has allowed us to see our planet from space. I think seeing things from a different perspective (from space) allows us to be more informed on what’s going on around us.
