      Hi!

      I’m sorry it isn’t very clear. I try to understand how fires start, how they grow and how we can extinguish them. This is important because fires cause lots of damage to buildings every year and, unfortunately, many people still die in fires.

      My job is to do research to try to understand how different things (for example plastics or wood) can be ignited. If we know how this happens, we can make new things safer and less likely to catch fire.
