      Good question and I can see you have done your research 🙂
      Amelia is a fantastic role model for all female engineers. The first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic and a record breaker. I and many other engineer are very big fans of hers 🙂

      She’s an AMAZING example of a person who did exactly what she wanted! She wasn’t restricted by stereotypes about women and proves to us that we can do anything if we put our mind to it. Such a tragic end- anyone have any theories about her disappearance?

      Hello!

      I admire her achievements and that she provides a great role model for engineers present and future.

      I’m a big fan of Isambard Kingdom Brunel myself, for me he was the greatest engineer that ever lived.

      She is a truly inspirational person. We can learn a lot from people like her – to follow your dreams, challenge the norms and to push the limits (all of which are important in engineering!).

      I shared a house with a friend who named his cats Amelia and Fred after Amelia Earheart and her navigator Fred Noonan which I think makes him a super-fan!
