Wow that sis a great question. Making predictions is always fun!
I think that cities will become much bigger and more connected. This will mean more people which will require bigger, more sophisticated buildings to house them. We will also need new modes of transport to move everyone around – electric vehicles, driverless vehicles and flying cars (I can still dream !!)

We are already beginning to see some of these things appearing but I think that they will be common in 10 years time!

There will also be many problems like how do we deal with the waste from so many people, how to we supply all the energy that they need and what is the environmental impact. These are tough questions that the engineers of the future will have to answer!

What do you think cities will look like?

quite different I expect! I think there will be more skyscrapers, more fast trains, fewer cars, and we’ll be more efficient with our energy.

I think the ways we travel will be different, there will still be personal vehicles but hopefully with less emissions!
10 years isn’t that far away – so things that are in development now should be with us!
How exciting- what do you think will be different?

Lots more people, houses and possibly powercuts ! ( but Cathy and I are on the case ) to stop that from happening 🙂

To be honest, in 10 years time I don’t think a huge amount will be different, from appearances at least.

The big differences will be in the home I would say. I think we will live in an even more virtual world – instead of me answering this question on my laptop I may be seeing a virtual you and you may be seeing a virtual me and we will be talking in real time. I’m not sure a virtual me would be good thing though!
