      Hello,

In a way I’ve always loved engineering. From playing with lego and mechano to playing with petrol powered remote control cars!
I love how things are put together and how they work in harmony (or not when my cars were concerned!)
Interestingly I learnt the alphabet from reading car number plates when I was very young!

Probably, yes – even if I didn’t realise it. I always liked building things and taking things apart when I was younger. I remember once dismantling an old video player in the garage and trying to figure out how id worked (I never managed in the end but it was fun!). I didn’t know it then, but that was engineering!

      Hi Chris

Loving your questions so far – keep them coming
I’ve always loved that you can see the results of engineering almost instantly from a young age be it playing with lego, or racing cars engineering makes a difference to the world and thats what i have always loved about it

I didn’t know I wanted to do engineering till I was about 20, but I always loved making and designing stuff so I guess I’ve always been interested!
I love that everything around us that’s man-made is designed by engineers and that we can improve people’s lives 🙂

      Hi Chris

I just love seeing how things work, and thinking how we could do things better. I’m always listening to friends conversations about things taht don’t work – or ways they do things at work and suggesting “have you thought of this…” or “what about trying it this way…” – some may call it being nosey!! But I love that engineering is constantly trying to improve things and processes!
